Arundel Road Postings

Last evening the Select Board voted to post and temporarily restrict the weight of vehicles on certain roads in Arundel to prevent damage as the frost comes out of the Road. This order will begin on Wednesday February 26, 2025 and will stay into effect until Lifted by the Town or by May 1, 2025 whatever comes first. Trucks may use a closed road only if the temperature is 32 degrees below and there are no water showing in cracks on the road, both conditions must be met.

BOARD OF APPEALS
 
 The Town is seeking volunteers to serve on the Board of Appeals. The Board has the powers of Administrative Review & Interpretation of the Arundel Land Use Ordinance along with review and granting variances upon appeal in specific cases.
  
The Board shall consist of five members and presently we have two. I encourage folks to review Section 11 of the Arundel Land Use Ordinance and if you feel you can contribute, please fill out an application found on the website and return to townmanager@arundelmaine.org
