Responsibilities: The Public Works Department is responsible for the Town’s infrastructure, which includes the operation and maintenance of the Town’s Transfer Station, Town roads (Summer maintenance on 37.7 miles of town roads. Winter maintenance on 41.5 miles of road.), and the maintainance of 13 cemeteries and town buildings. All of this is accomplished by only five full-time employees, including our own town mechanic.
